Paoli`s Italian Restaurant in Big Bear Region

The food was less than mediocre. The restaurant was severely understaffed and filthy. There was literally dirt EVERYWHERE and trash covering the floor. Don’t be fooled by the online pictures, the establishment leaves much to be desired when it comes to presentation, cleanliness, and food. The waitresses were nice, which is the only positive thing about this restaurant. I can barely bring myself to give this two stars when it really deserves one. Would not recommend.

Paoli’s has amazing food atmosphere and customer service! They are under new management and have created an atmosphere that celebrates food, family and at an amazing value!

Really good spot for lunch or dinner. Super friendly staff that took great care of us. We are new in town, we asked a few questions about recommendations for things to do and the staff gave us great advice. There food is incredible, made fresh and have a good flavor. We got Baked Artichoke which was amazing! I got the BBQ Chicken Pizza that was top notch. This place has a nice vibe as well. Check it out and you won't regret it

Service was great! Plate was good just needed a little more salt & pepper and the family enjoyed the pizza. Chicken Marsala was appetizing a little sweet which I'm not used to but overall good.

Love this place! Best pizza ever! Great service, very friendly, and the new manager is very accommodating and she makes wonderful cocktails! We will definitely visit again.

Wonderful spot to get authentic Italian cuisine. My server was highly attentive during my entire dining experience, and extremely helpful in all regards. Very well managed atmosphere, and lovely ambiance. Definitely my new go-to— highly recommend.

From the plastic utensils, to the plastic cups for wine, to the half cut Styrofoam container for a plate, and to top it off the waitress didn't provide a receipt, only the final amount owed and stood over our shoulder while we determined the tip amount....this place was a SERIOUS disappointment. The one positive I can say about this place, is it has very nice curb appeal...beyond that, it is overpriced and the service is terrible.

This place was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious and our waitress was phenomenal. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our first time here, to celebrate my sister in law's birthday, and it did not disappoint. Our server was excellent and the food even better. We had Hawaiian pizza, pepperoni pizza, lasagna, fettuccini alfredo, mozzarella sticks and garlic bread. The pizza is Chicago deep dish and oh my gosh so good. It says the drinks are not refillable, when you order one, you'll understand why. They're huge, almost as tall as compared to my 16 year old son's forearm. If you're in the area, find your way here and bring your appetite, you won't be disappointed.

Best spot in Big Bear for the whole family! Seems like they brought on some new staff members because the service for a large group was incredible, the food was to die for, and cold beers on the patio after a day on the lake hit the spot!

Limited menu, they ran out of items on the menu, food was edible. Don't expect a lot.

The Carbonara or the Gnocchi or the lobster Ravioli which is the best?? Everything we have tried here is fantastic and fresh.

Great spot to hit up when up on the mountain. The staff is so nice even though these are trying times. They may make a mistake every now and then but they completely own it and fix it right away!

Take away thoughts: nickle and dime you for what already isn't a cheap place, only takes Visa/Mastercard, food is ok, service seems hit and miss from listening to other tables. Our server was reasonably attentive but didn't refill our drinks. Kids food was what you would expect but the adult mains were hit and miss. Everything on the menu has a base price but basically every item has prices listed to increase the price. Even the kids pasta was an upgrade cost of a dollar if you just wanted white sauce. Big issue was that the lasagna main was cool in the middle but the pasta was cooked which means it's either frozen or refrigerated and wasn't properly brought up to temp per basic food handling. Overall it was food and such, but would very much look to go elsewhere next time.

Service was chaotic didn’t know who was the hostess . The workers didn’t even acknowledge you as you stood there. To even put your name on the waitlist. Wait time was long so decided to order Togo. They did not take my daughter cheese pizza. After I clearly stated a medium cheese pizza. Found out after I picked it up. I got a linguine with clams ended being more like a soup. It was so so. Would NOT go there again. For the $$$ not worth it.

The food was good... but unfortunately it was understaff the poor server had a lot to do with how many peoplewere here. I didn't get his name but he was a young kid he was very nice and friendly... I give him a 5 stars for his hard work

I have been here a couple of times and it has been good both times the service was not that good today don't know if the waitress was how to make because she was tired or what but other than that the food was great. The pizza is delicious I love that light crispy crust. Yummy...

Slow service, but the food was awesome.

Please don’t eat here. Food is super bland and soggy, especially the chicken. The sauce tastes like any other jar sauce. Food was not presentable at all. Not worth your money.

THEIR PIZZA IS STRAIGHT UP AMAZING!! I didn’t like deep dish until I came to Paoli’s. Just the right amount of crust with flavors that leave you wanting more every time. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed!!

Staff Friendly on a Covid Saturday Visit. The Town overflowing with tourist, making difficult to find a smile from a town filled with outsiders, but Paoli’s Italian Country Kitchen, was a breath of fresh air. Their staff Friendly and food was delicious..
